I’m Frances — a British-born performer and writer now rooted in the American South. At 49, I’ve learned that the most compelling roles aren’t always the loudest ones. They’re the ones that hold space for grief, grace, resilience, and the subtle shifts of an ordinary life.
My work lives at the intersection of memory, identity, and place. Whether on screen, stage, or the page, I seek characters who feel real — flawed, tender, and fiercely human.
Southern Crossings (2024) – Margaret Ellis
A retired schoolteacher confronting family secrets in rural Georgia.
The Archive (Short Film, 2023) – Lead Role
Official Selection, Atlanta Film Festival
Chandler Letters (In Progress)
A semi-autobiographical novel set between London and Atlanta, exploring displacement, motherhood, and reinvention after 40.
Essays published in The Bitter Southerner, Literary Hub, and Backstage.
I welcome collaboration, casting inquiries, readings, or thoughtful conversation.
